Yeah my luck officially sucks. Work denied my vacation request 2 weeks before the games. I really dont know what I'm going to do now, as there are no more additional skeleton schools, just the intro camps.

I'm jealous of everyone that got to make it out there. Hope you all had a blast!

Well, Tom was talking about something next month but it's not on the official schedules I've seen.

I had a blast but got my ribs too banged up to continue. I thought for a few days I had a separated rib but it's healing far too quickly for that. This afternoon I actually felt better than I did before my last run.

It was partially because of that that Tom was talking about upcoming schools - looking for a way to get me back in to finish up.

Probably just bruised up the cartilage. Either way, there's no way I could've lifted a sled on Thursday much less ridden one under Gs. :(

That said, yeah, I had a hell of a blast. Loved every minute of it. :D Can't wait to finish up at some point.

I also had a blast during my visit and the UWG. It was great seeing all of you (Tom, Kyle, Mark, Chase, many others) and assisting with the skeleton clinics and school.

I have a prominent (but painless) black eye from my disastrous 2nd UWG run, so I was covered in ice bags and missed the award ceremony. Only now did I learn that I won a silver medal in the open division.
