Where to buy a new/used skeleton from?

Postby kinglolo » Fri Jan 12, 2007 12:09 am

I have already checked a sled builder and he won't accept new order till 2008. Plus he is picky on who to build for.

Do you know where to buy a new/used skeleton from?

Thanks

The best folks to ask are sliders at your local track. I assume you're by Calgary and are referring to Davenport, the top sledmaker, who only builds sophisticated sleds for World Cup athletes and has a long waiting list. I know there's also Randy Parker in Utah and Vescoli, maybe Bromley, and others in Europe, but I don't know any details.

You'll want something more basic, so ask sliders in your area, and try to find something used that fits--new may be overkill. Good luck.
